Saona island
Isla Saona is located in the extreme southeast of the Dominican Republic. It is part of the Parque Nacional del Este and is known for its mangroves, coral reefs and palm-fringed beaches, such as La Palmilla. Many types of birds can be seen on the island such as: parrots, ravens, seagulls, partridges, coots, roosters, yaguazas and wild pigeons, it is a destination for tourists who come to its shores by boat and catamaran to discover its mysteries. Only about 1,200 inhabitants live on the island.

Itinerary:
Pick up at the hotels or meeting point approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., after gathering all the clients who are going to Saona, we leave approximately 8:30 a.m. for Bayahibe, arriving approximately 9:40 a.m. to take our catamaran or speedboat. around 10:00 am and we go to Saona Island making a systematic stop at the natural pool for about 30 minutes, arriving at the island around 12:30 pm, where we will have lunch and we will be on Saona Island for three hours, at At 3:30 we will be boarding back to Bayahibe to take the bus and finish the tour.
